This rule updates the standard installation date and the custom fields defined in "Decommission Date Field" and "Power-Off Date Field" parameter to the current date based on valid status changes. The "Locations" parameter is a comma delimited list of location codes that do not have a matching decomission location. Items that are Archived in these locations, will remain under their original location code. Items that are not found under these location codes will be moved to a matching decommission location once they are archived. For example, items in Site A > ROOM 1 will move to Site A > DECOMMISSION. Items will not be moved to the decommission location if the item is associated to any children.

The following logic is applied:

Installed to Powered-off, Off-Site or Storage will update Power-Off Date when it is null

Installed to Archived will update the Power-Off Date and the Decommission Date when they are null and update the item Location when applicable

Off-Site to Archived will update the Decommission Date and update the item Location when applicable

Off-Site, Planned or Powered-off to Installed will update the Installation Date and remove the Decommission Date

Storage to Archived will update the Decommission Date when null and update the item Location when applicable

Storage to Installed will remove the Power-Off Date

Planned to Archived will update the Decommission Date and update the item Location when applicable

Powered-off to Installed will update the Installation Date and remove the Power-Off Date
